Whether you are a few months postpartum or a year out from delivery, this program meets you where you are and helps you rebuild from the inside out.
Request an AppointmentWhy Post-Partum Training Is Different
Post-partum fitness is not about “bouncing back.” It is about rebuilding properly. After pregnancy and delivery, your core and pelvic floor have been through significant stress — and jumping back into standard gym workouts too quickly can cause more harm than good.
The Post-Partum Build program is designed with this in mind. Every exercise is selected to restore function, rebuild core integrity, and progressively develop strength in a way that honors your body’s recovery timeline. We work with you, not against you.
What the Post-Partum Build Program Focuses On
- Core rehabilitation starting with deep core and pelvic floor activation
- Rebuilding functional strength for the physical demands of new motherhood
- Progressive resistance training to restore and develop muscle tone
- Posture correction to address the strain of pregnancy and nursing
- Energy management and sustainable habits that fit into a new parent’s schedule
- Confidence building through movement that feels good in your body
When Can I Start Post-Partum Training?
Every person’s recovery timeline is different. As a general guideline, most clients with vaginal deliveries begin gentle movement around 6 weeks postpartum with medical clearance. Those who had a C-section often wait 8 to 12 weeks before beginning a structured program.
We strongly encourage you to get clearance from your OB or midwife before beginning any structured fitness program. Once you have that green light, we will take it from there and build a program that respects where your body is right now.
You Do Not Have to Do This Alone
New motherhood is one of the most demanding seasons of life. Finding time and energy for yourself can feel impossible — and the last thing you need is a fitness program that adds to your stress.
That is why the Post-Partum Build program is designed to be efficient, flexible, and genuinely encouraging. Your trainer understands the physical and emotional realities of postpartum recovery and is here to support you through every session, not push you past your limits before you are ready.
Our clients consistently describe this program as one of the best investments they made in themselves after having a baby. Not just for the physical results, but for the sense of strength, capability, and confidence it gives them as they step into motherhood.
Post-Partum Build FAQs
Do I need to be fully recovered before starting?
You will need clearance from your doctor or midwife before beginning. Beyond that, we build your program around your current recovery stage. You do not need to feel fully recovered before reaching out — we will meet you where you are.
What if I had a C-section?
C-section recovery requires additional care around core and abdominal work. We are experienced in programming for C-section clients and will make sure your program protects your healing while still building strength safely.
Can I train if I am still breastfeeding?
Yes. We will take your nutrition and hydration needs into account and make sure your program supports your energy levels throughout the day. Moderate exercise is generally safe and beneficial while breastfeeding.
What if I had diastasis recti?
Diastasis recti, or separation of the abdominal muscles, is common after pregnancy. We take this into account when programming your core work and focus on exercises that support healing and reconnection rather than movements that can worsen the condition.
How quickly will I see results?
Post-partum progress is individual and depends on many factors including delivery type, sleep, nutrition, and how far out from birth you are when you start. Most clients begin feeling stronger and more capable within the first few weeks, with visible physical changes developing over 6 to 12 weeks of consistent training.
